SKIN DEEPWhen a famous photographer decided to experiment with chemicals to invent a fluoroscopic film to record pictures that see through outer garments, little did he expect the process to change him into a living, breathing skeleton! For this is what happened to Warren Spencer when a laboratory accident caused him to change. Spencer and his beautiful wife Belinda are constantly at war, their marriage having become stale and dull, that is until the terrible alienating accident occurs of which Belinda is unaware. Dreadful cringing scenes develop which make you wince in their awfulness whilst at the same time the story creates scores of intriguing and hilarious situations. Throughout the book, Spencer repeatedly changes from flesh to bone. It would be impossible in a few words to describe the abominable sight for a girl in the throws of passion to suddenly become aware that she is making love to a skeleton; however John Moon manages it magnificently.
